Large stoneware platter

One of one, hand painted decorative stoneware bowl painted with primary colours - red yellow blue and also black and white in slips and underglazes. It is covered in a transparent gloss glaze on the top and deep blue glaze on the underside. The platter sits on three small feet so it is slightly raised.

While it is functional as a platter the piece was intended as a decorative centrepiece.
